Here are the latest news and updates for the Third Sector Forum from Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire
- The next meeting of the Third Sector Forum will be held on Wednesday 25th November from 2.30pm – 3.30pm. Suzanne Tyrrell from East Renfrewshire Council will be updating on the Leader fund and the way forward. Voluntary Action will be holding our AGM directly after the forum 3.30pm – 4.30pm and would like to invite you to attend, light refreshments will be available. Please advise if you are able to attend either or both of these meetings.
- We are hoping that each month at the Third Sector Forum a member will take a slot to let the whole forum know more about their organisation or group. - VA would like to introduce our new Third Sector Forum Support Worker, Archie Biggins. He will be working closely with the forum members to develop a core group. The last forum had a brief discussion on the principles of a core group, more information and discussion is needed to refine this process, Archie will be in touch with the forum member in the next week or so.
- The presentation from Cranfield trust was very informative and received a positive response from the members that were able to attend the last meeting. Presentation attached, please contact them direct if you would like further information.
