Membership Information
Voluntary Action is a membership organisation. Membership is available free for 2010/11 to all community and voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises within East Renfrewshire.
Full membership
Full membership entitles an organisation to access up to 10 hours of free support each year. This includes help & advice to:
- Identify funders
- Develop better governance
- Comply with legislation
- Work with volunteers
- Monitor & evaluate work
- Establish a social enterprise, company, trading arm etc
- Tender for public service contracts
- ....and much more
Over ten hours there is a nominal charge for support.
Associate membership
Associate membership is available to other groups & individuals. Associate members will be those member organisations that are not voluntary sector or operate outside East Renfrewshire. Associate membership does not qualify for free support. There is a charge for services to associate members at a reduced rate.
