Objects and Values
All full and associate members of Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire are asked to subscribe to the organisation's charitable objects and core values as a condition of membership
The Board shall be entitled at their discretion to refuse to admit any individual or body to membership.
Voluntary Action, working within East Renfrewshire, has the following charitable objects.
- To relieve poverty
- To advance education for the public benefit
- To preserve, conserve, restore and improve the environment for the benefit of the general public
- To relieve the needs of people experiencing mental or physical disability, illness or impairment
- To provide, in the interest of social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation available to the public at large with a view to improving their conditions of life
- To promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes and projects of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community
