Volunteer applications are now being accepted for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

A £500k funding programme to help people who want to volunteer for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games has been launched by the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) and the Scottish Government.

Did you know there are many opportunities to volunteer abroad – outside the UK? You can make a difference anywhere around the world.

Are you between the ages of 12 and 25 years of age? Interested in volunteering your time? There are loads of opportunities for young people in East Renfrewshire.

Xchange Scotland is a youth-led charity developed by returned Scottish volunteers and others committed to making positive change in society.

If you are a volunteer aged between 12 and 25, why not get an award for your voluntary work?

If you’re aged 16 or more, and have volunteered for at least 4 hours in the last 12 months, you can register with the Orange Rockcorps Collective and share your story.
